In less than one week, the OCP Warriors prepared for two different opponents. Following the cancellation of the contest against Foundation Academy earlier in the week, OCP was able to find an opponent in 5A District 7 Mount Dora High School.

The Warriors (3-0) traveled to Mount Dora and put forth a dominant performance on both sides of the ball with a 59-14 victory. The OCP defense held the Hurricanes offense to 165 yards and had 4 interceptions, while the Warriors offense gained 452 total yards (317 rushing on 37 carries).

Offensively, running backs Demarion Jenkins carried the ball 10 times for 133 yards and a touchdown, while Zhyan Karaoke had three rushing touchdowns on 15 carries for 89 yards. Quarterback Vilay Nakkoun completed 9 of 13 attempts for 135 yards and two touchdowns. One of the completions was a 60-yard score to Jayden Alberty and the other was a 20-yard completion to Cooper Cadorette.

On the defensive side, Jeremiah Sanderson and Jamel Lynch recorded a team-high five tackles each, while Alberthy, Jayden Ward and Jenkins recorded interceptions.

The unbeaten Warriors travel back to Mount Dora to play Mt. Dora Christian on October 2, 2020. Kickoff is set for 7:30 pm.
