The Lady Warriors Volleyball team won their second consecutive game on consecutive road trips to open the 2021 season with a win against Legacy Charter.  OCP took all 3 sets against the Eagles, 25-14, 25-11, 25-17

After a 0-13 season a year ago with a young, inexperienced club, Coach Omar Soto was proud of the teams' ability to rise to the occasion on successive nights.

"Big efforts and improvements all around" said Coach Soto who is in his third year as the head coach of the OCP Volleyball program. 

Senior libero Brianna Cooper finished the game with 16 digs followed by sophomores Alana Ortiz and Kalyn McIntyre with 10 digs, and sophomore Alexis Kimble had nine digs.

The top hitters of the evening were Ortiz with six kills followed by junior Aalyssa Gunn with five.

Our top servers of the night were freshman Maddi Hull with 10 consecutive serves followed by Junior Lydia Mascari with nine serves in a row.

The Lady Warriors will travel to St. Cloud to take on the Bulldogs on Thursday.
