On behalf of principal Jennie Jacobson, athletic director Treig Burke, and head baseball coach Adrian Hernandez, Orlando Christian Prep would like to recognize and say thank you to Class of 2022 OCP Baseball Seniors - Aydan Abalo, Julius Pena and Knykolas Ross.

Julius Pena, Outfielder  #20

Julius' plans for the future are to go to college (interest from Samford University), be successful and do what he loves most, play baseball.

"I would like to thank God, first, and thank my parents and the coaches and staff for everything," said Pena.

WORDS OF WISDOM to teammates: "Keep on Playing Hard."

Knykolas Ross, Outfielder #15

Knykolas is in his second year of playing baseball for OCP. His future plans include studying electrical engineering at Southern University (Baton Rouge, La.).

"I would like to thank God for allowing me the ability to play sports, be academically gifted, my mother for introducing me to baseball, and my coaches for always believing in me," said Ross.

WORDS TO WISDOM to teammates:  "Never give up."

Aydan Abalo, Pitcher-Second Base-Shortstop #3

Aydan has been a part of the OCP Baseball program for the past 6 years. His future plans include attending the University of South Florida and studying mechanical engineering.

"I want to start off by thanking God for providing me the talent and knowledge to serve others. I want to thank my parents and brothers for guiding me through this journey of life. Without them, I would not be the person I am today."

Abalo continued, "a special thanks to Mr. Soto and Coach Hancock for positively impacting my young adulthood. I am appreciative of all the time and effort it takes to lead a young man like myself. I will forever be proud to be an OCP Warrior."

WORDS OF WISDOM to teammates: "I would like to thank my current coaches and teammates for having my back throughout the season. Remember to cherish the memories!"

The Warriors (5-9) played Legacy Charter for their final home game of the season, suffering a disappointing loss by a score of 16-0. The next chance to get a win will be on Thursday April 21 against First Academy (Leesburg), 6pm at Pat Thomas Stadium in Leesburg.
