OCP bringing back Boy's Golf
Golf is back in full swing at OCP
The Orlando Christian Prep athletic department is excited to announce the return of boys golf to our high school athletic program. "Two years ago we graduated five golfers, the interest level dropped so we had to pause what we were doing. But its back now." said Treig Burke, OCP Athletic Director.
The 2017-18 school year OCP will revive its golf program. Home matches will be played at North Shore Golf Club in Lake Nona. The season will begin in early August. The head coach will be Mark Collantes, who graduated and played three years of golf at OCP. Coach Collantes is excited to coach the team next year.
OCP has enjoyed success in its golf program over the years. Luis Gagne (class of 2014) was the 2A state champion and currently plays for LSU. To find out more information about how to be a part of the golf program please contact Treig Burke at athletics@orlandochristianprep.org
