September 22, 2021 -- (ORLANDO)

Thursday September 23 all three volleyball teams will now be playing International Community School (ICS) instead of their previously scheduled opponent, Forest Lake Academy. Game times are 4:30, 5:30, and 7pm in the AD Normal Life Center at OCP.  It will be the first meeting of the season against International Community. All games will be streamed on the NFHS Network.

OCP's varsity volleyball team has split a pair of games this week. They dropped a competitive 3-set match on Monday to Foundation Academy 3-0 at home. But, they rebounded from the defeat with an impressive 3-0 sweep at City of Life Academy in Kissimmee on Tuesday.  They Lady Warriors are 9-5 on the season entering Thursday's match. 

The JV volleyball team also scored a win at City of Life Academy, winning their 5th consecutive match, improving to 5-1 on the season.

Thursday's game will the middle school team's first match of the week.

Warriors flip from host to guest Friday night

The Varsity Football will be traveling on Friday September 24 to Tampa to play Seffner Christian instead of hosting the Crusaders as originally scheduled.

The game will be played at Jefferson High School - 4401 West Cypress St. Tampa 33607, game time is 7:30pm.

Seffner Christian (2-0) have not played since their 18-14 victory over North Florida Education Institute (Jacksonville) on September 3, according to Maxpreps.com.  

OCP (1-1) is coming off a scheduled bye week on Friday and the rescheduled game against The First Academy played on Monday September 13.  OCP won 14-7.

Maxpreps.com ranks the Warriors #1 in FHSAA 2A Region 2 and the Crusaders #5 in 2A Region 3.
