OCP beats Lake Minneola 11-1

Sophomore Lexi Perez came to the ballpark and meant business on Friday, driving in four on three hits to lead Orlando Christian Prep past Lake Minneola 11-1 on Friday. Perez drove in runs on a groundout in the first, a double in the second, and a home run in the sixth.
The Warriors (11-4) opened up scoring in the first inning, when Perez grounded out, scoring one run.
Junior Grace Thomas (6-1) was the winning pitcher for OCP. The ace allowed two hits and one run over six innings, striking out five and walking zero.
OCP tallied two home runs on the day. Sophomore Naya Rosario had a dinger in the second inning. Perez had a long ball in the sixth inning.
Warriors racked up 11 hits on the day. Perez, Rosario, and sophomore Aracelis Jimenez each racked up multiple hits for Orlando Christian Prep. Perez went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Orlando Christian Prep Varsity Warriors in hits.
