Recent Track and Field News

OCP Track athletes competed in the FHSAA 1A District 8 Championship Meet at Holy Trinity. The top four finishers in each meet would advance to Regionals on Saturday May 6 at Mount Dora Christian Academy.
Senior Jeremy Miller advanced to Regionals in three events with a first place, second and fourth place finish. He finished first in Javelin throw, second in Discus throw and fourth in Shot Put throw.
Juniors Joshua Demosthenes and Valentino Garcia were awarded 1st place in 110 hurdles and Shot put, respectively. Demosthenes ran a 15.47 to earn first place. Garcia threw 41' 3.75", which was just about 3 feet further than the 2nd place competitor.

Orlando Christian Prep Athletics and BSN Sports has partnered to offer a spring sports merchandise store open to ALL OCP students, parents, alumni and supporters.
The Spring Sports Store opens Friday February 17 and closes Tuesday February 28, 2023. Orders will ship directly to the customer within 1-2 weeks once the store closes.
